Domaine Bosquet des Papes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape Tradition 2022

Domaine Bosquet des Papes is a historic, family-run estate established in 1860, now led by Nicolas Boiron. Based in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the domaine farms around 40 hectares sustainably, focusing on old-vine Grenache. Blending tradition and precision, Bosquet des Papes produces wines of depth, warmth, and finesse that faithfully reflect the region’s stony terroir. The 2022 Tradition is a blend of 75% Grenache, 13% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre, and 4% Cinsault, offering aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, garrigue, and spice. The palate is rich yet balanced, with layers of red and black fruit framed by supple tannins and a savoury, herbal lift. Notes of pepper, thyme, and crushed stone add complexity. Full-bodied but poised, it finishes long and elegant, capturing the warmth, texture, and aromatic depth of classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
